Stepping Stone offers a variety of enrichment programs for your child. These programs are on-site and WITHOUT the after school hassle. Current On-site Programs: Computers, ages 2+ The PC Kidz 40 week curriculum, designed by professional educators, is divided into five program levels of instruction based on age and developmental capabilities, beginning with Little Bitz and proceeding through Navigators, Explorers, Kinder Kidz, and Big Kidz. The curriculum meets state and national standards for technology in education. For more information, click here. Art Weekly art classes will incormparate the use of a wide variety of art materials and completion of lots of fun projects with a focus on learing to use art supplies properly, to create, to experience new things and to stretch our imaginations having a ton of FUN in a non-competitive, encouraging setting. Gymnastics, ages 3+ Gymnastics classes are taught by Ms. Sheryl Wade. Gymnastics classes include instruction in tumbling, bars, balance beam, mini-trampoline, and cheerleading jumps and stunts. Piano, ages 2+ Karate, ages 4+ Stepping Stone's Karate classes teach the children to have fun, while simultaneously teaching them life-saving techniques. Karate streses self-defence, danger awareness, danger recognition, andproper emergency responce. Karate aso stresses discipline, respect, honor, loyalty, character development, and self-confidence. Guitar, ages 4-12 David Phipps is the local Director of a unique music education program for younger people called The Childbloom Guitar Program. This program is designed for elementary aged children. David Phipps sepcializes in introducing kids to the world of music through the guitar.
